Open SUBMIT, Version 1.0

Open SUBMIT allows users on VMS® systems to submit/manage batch jobs running on UNIX® computer servers on a network with the VAX. Open SUBMIT includes three DCL commands on the VAX (A8SUBMIT, A8SHOW, A8DELETE), which control batch command files sent to UNIX systems for processing. Upon completion, the job status and output is automatically returned to the VAX. Open SUBMIT allows VAX users to exploit the power of UNIX systems without leaving the familiar VAX/Open VMS environment.
